Athletic Inks for Screen Printing Uniforms, Nylon, Polyester, Tips

Nylon and polyester are the industry norm but many moisture management materials are becoming more prevalent and they will require special care.
Flashing athletic inks is a delicate process due to the growing problem of dye migration. When screen printing 100% polyester uniforms, turning the temperature down on the flash unit is strongly recommended. Excessive heat from the flash unit can create problems with athletic inks before the uniform even gets to the conveyor dryer.
